Alcoa to relocate Australian head office
Alcoa Australia will relocate its head office to the Perth Central Business District (CBD) in the second half of 2025 in a move that will see it situated closer to key stakeholders and more attractive to prospective employees from across the metropolitan area.
The integrated aluminium company has been operating in Australia for 61 years with 40 of those from its head office in Booragoon, 15 kilometres south of Perth’s CBD.
It will move to 235 St. Georges Terrace, Perth, located at the western end of the CBD.
President Alcoa Australia Elsabe Muller announced the move to employees today saying the business had outgrown the current office and it was the right time to transition to a more centrally located contemporary workspace.
“The CBD location will help us meet future business and workplace needs and aspirations, and I’m excited for the invigorated environment our new headquarters will bring,” she said.
“We look forward to being located closer to key stakeholders such as government, suppliers and industry peers, as well as all the vibrancy the city offers.”
235 St. Georges Terrace is jointly owned and managed by Hawaiian (property management) and Brookfield Properties (facilities management).
